haha, you're right. you always have to be cautious as we don't have good luck and there's always the next disaster waiting round the corner. we deserve some decent times :.)

No mate all my own work - I'll shut the fuck up, boring myself now.

It's all a consequence of my lad bouncing about giving it continuously large about what we are going to do and having non of anything but

Borne of him being a loinful youth, gorging on his summer leave; full of strumpet, sun and my beer and me being a time served, wizen old cunt full of pragmatic reality having seen my own youthful hope crushed when I was, and still wanted to think I was

I'll try desperately not to refer to my cautionary notes when it rains again and reality returns to all

It is a dish on a plate to Liverpool
We are a side who have no FB's and will play two CB's better in a 3
We will attack them, leaving space for their three to run into - nightmare
Against other sides when the new lads have settled then we will dish out more than we get Sunday, best move on to those thoughts

Well in truth yes in part but its a team thing. We need to defend better as a team and some of the additions may help. Anderson has a reasonable reputation for doing some defensive work even though he is obviously an attacking/creative player first. Wilshire was never much of a worker when not in possession and Noble is not going to be quicker

Just got to hope better technical players, improved ability to open teams up and better organisation and tactics will mean not getting that defensive anchor will not be such an issue this season.

Away at Anfield is a stern first test though for sure .

A little more belief from Leicester and who knows?

Sir Alf

Can we withstand the high press that they play and that has given us so much of a problem for the many a season?

That's code for why oh why didn't we buy a next level Central Defensive Midfielder?

Bergkamp caressed the ball around the defender
Shaw confused the defender by controlling the ball about 3yds away from where he was trying to play it

Re: Manchester Utd v Leicester City
As good as Leicester have been its still United with a routine 2-0 win :-( Leicester like us have recruited a few ( well not as many as us ) and had more than their fair share of possession but in the end the better defence of United was the difference.

Hope that is not the case for us on Sunday. Can we withstand the high press that they play and that has given us so much of a problem for the many a season? The hope is we can use our new attacking options to open them up but like tonight we aint gonna get the decisions, teams never do at the Premiership's flagship teams.

Agree that was definitely a penalty ... but question is would it have been given at the other end on 2 minutes ?
